HFSP offers Long-Term Fellowships to researchers with doctorates in biological fields and Cross-Disciplinary Fellowships to researchers moving into the life sciences from outside biology. Applicants must propose frontier research, change country, and satisfy the program's mobility and doctoral-degree timing rules. The fellowship lasts 36 months. The initial Letter of Intent stage for the 2027 competition is closed.
