Up to €7 million for four to seven years for outstanding researchers pursuing transformative projects beyond the scope of regular ERC grants.
About this opportunity
ERC Plus Grants support outstanding principal investigators at any career stage whose bold, transformative projects go beyond the scale of existing ERC schemes. Applicants may be any age or nationality and may live anywhere when applying, but research must be carried out with a host institution in an EU Member State or associated country. A researcher may hold only one ERC Plus Grant in their lifetime. Awards run for four to seven years and can reach €7 million. The first call is open from June 2 to September 2, 2026.
