About this opportunity
The UNICEF Venture Fund invests in early-stage, open-source frontier technology in underserved markets. Seed funding can reach $100,000 and selected graduates can receive up to $400,000 in growth funding, in U.S. dollars and/or cryptocurrency. Eligible applicants must be private for-profit companies registered in a UNICEF programme country, have a working prototype, and make the funded solution open source. UNICEF does not take equity or seek a financial return. Expressions of interest and deadlines are tied to specific funding opportunities.
