Full-time higher-education scholarships in Azerbaijan for eligible foreign nationals from OIC member states, Non-Aligned Movement member states, Small Island Developing States, and countries sharing specified cultural, ethnic, or historical ties with Azerbaijan.
About this opportunity
The 2026–2027 call covers preparatory courses, bachelor's and general medicine, master's and medical residency, and doctoral study. Applicants must be nationals of an eligible country group. As of 15 September 2026, undergraduate and general-medicine applicants must be under 35, graduate and medical-residency applicants under 40, and doctoral applicants under 45. Azerbaijan citizens and people whose Azerbaijan citizenship was terminated are excluded. Benefits are tuition and language preparation, one annual return economy flight, AZN 800 monthly for ten months per year, AZN 200 yearly for medical care and medication, a single-entry visa, and a temporary residence permit. The first stage requires nomination through the relevant government authority by 15 April 2026 at 18:00 Baku time. Only nominated candidates may complete the required second-stage SIACAS application from 18 May through 1 June 2026 at 18:00 Baku time.
