About this opportunity
The CAPES-Humboldt Research Fellowship supports Brazilian postdoctoral and experienced researchers conducting self-directed research with an academic host in Germany. Applicants must normally be Brazilian nationals or permanent residents based in Brazil and meet mobility, doctorate-age, publication, and host-confirmation requirements. Postdoctoral fellowships provide €3,000 per month for six to twenty-four months; experienced-researcher fellowships provide €3,600 per month for six to eighteen months, plus additional benefits. Call 27 is open through November 30, 2026.
