The first edition selects 50 initiatives: 15 led by Indigenous organizations, 15 by Quilombola organizations, and 20 by organizations representing other traditional peoples and communities. Each selected initiative receives R$50,000. Eligible applicants are nonprofit community organizations or informal collectives using an eligible partner organization, and the submitted initiative must show concrete territorial-protection work in the Legal Amazon.
