Eligible applicants are authors native to or resident in the Pacific region who have previously been published by a publisher. The residency provides transport and catering, accommodation or a monthly meal allowance, and XPF 200,000 per month for two months. A split two-by-one-month format is reserved for laureates residing in French Polynesia.
